BRCGS Food – Issue 9 Sites Training and/or Internal Auditing

Food Safety Net Services (FSNS) provides certified food safety training courses for food processing and manufacturing personnel. Our schedule includes both virtual (live, instructor-led) and in-person food safety courses at locations across the U.S.

Our food safety courses are taught by leading food industry technical authorities, and are primarily designed for:

  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control Supervisors and Technicians
  • Corporate Food Safety Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents
  • Production and Plant Management/Personnel
  • HACCP Coordinators and Plant HACCP Team Members
  • Regulatory Affairs Supervisors
  • In–House Lab Personnel

Dates/locations are subject to change. Virtual classes are live, instructor led through a digital platform. FSNS reserves the right to cancel/postpone classes if there is not a minimum of 10 participants at least 7 days prior to the class date.

FSNS Certified Food Safety Courses

The two-day BRCGS course is part of the BRCGS Professional Recognition Programme and designed to enable participants to gain a full understanding of the general principles of the current BRC Standard and how to comply with the requirements. Attendees will also gain an understanding of what to expect during the process of certification and actions needed prior to, during and after the audit.

BRCGS Food - Issue 9

Participants can expect to learn:

  • The details of the scheme
  • How to meet the requirements of the Standard
  • What to expect from your BRC Global Standards audit
  • Accessing and using site audit reports on the BRC Global Standards Directory

This course applies to all sectors of the food industry including primary production through distribution. We encourage plant management, quality personnel, or anyone that is seeking to be or is a BRC practitioner to take this course.

An HACCP or PCQI course is a prerequisite for this course.

Internal Auditing

The Internal Auditing course is one day and teaches attendees how to conduct internal audits within their facility to meet GFSI audit requirements. A comprehensive audit system is fundamental to a company’s food safety and product quality program, provides confirmation that systems and procedures are operating effectively, and identifies areas that require improvement.

*The BRCGS course is a prerequisite for the Internal Auditing course.

*Per BRCGS rules, we are not allowed to supply you with a copy of the Issue 9 standard. You will need one for the class. Please let us know if you do not have one available to you and we will help you obtain one.
