John W. Bellinger

John Bellinger is the CEO and Chairman of the Board for Food Safety Net Services and FSNS Certification & Audit. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1976 and a Master of Science degree in 1978. While completing his graduate studies, he was an instructor of animal science and coached the Texas A&M Meat Judging Team. Mr. Bellinger is also the CEO of Agri–West International, Inc., an international trading company. He has served as the Chairman of the Southwest Meat Association and the U.S. Meat Export Federation. He has been on the Texas Beef Council Board of Directors, various committees of the National Cattleman’s Beef Association, the Texas A&M Agricultural Advisory Council, Nolan Ryan Beef and is the Founder of the Houston Livestock Show Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest.

Gina R. Bellinger

Gina Bellinger serves as the founder and President of Food Safety Net Services. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University. Her research interests include the development of baseline and microbial mapping data in the meat industry. Mrs. Bellinger is co–author of several noted publications concerning the control of pathogens in food processing operations and has been involved in the food industry for the last 25 years. Her passion for customer service and quality testing has enabled Food Safety Net Services to become the leading food and consumable testing company in the nation.

Chief Science Officer
Dr. Robert Brodnick

Dr. Robert Brodnick was appointed FSNS Chief Science Officer in 2016 after serving nearly a decade on active duty and completing his career as a Field Grade Officer in the U.S. Army Medical Services Corps. His diverse leadership experience spans regulated forensic, clinical, and R&D laboratory operations, program management, and quality management. Robert contributed significantly to Department of Defense efforts to develop antimicrobial and wound healing medical therapeutics, advance the Nation’s medical–chemical and biological threat defense capabilities, and conduct combat casualty care research in Afghanistan. As a court–qualified Expert Witness in Forensic Toxicology, Robert provided testimony or consultative support world-wide in over 100 cases involving Service Member drug and alcohol use, and human performance and behavior. He brings a unique perspective to FSNS after serving on or leading numerous regulated animal care and use, forensic audit, and scientific review committees, and has a successful background in private sector leadership, scientific, and quality consulting. Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace University, and Master of Science and Doctorate degrees in Analytical and Biological Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Vice President of Strategic Alliances
Jeff Carpenter

Jeff Carpenter joined FSNS in 2010 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. After a successful start–up venture in 2013–2015, he rejoined FSNS in January 2016 as Vice President of Strategic Alliances. Mr. Carpenter has over 25 years of experience in both technical and consumer product goods sales/operations with a deep knowledge and understanding of the food industry. His background includes executive level positions with Pinnacle Foods, Borden, Nestle, and Cadbury Schweppes among others. Additionally, he has received numerous sales and marketing awards including the Gail Borden Award, Walmart’s Vendor of the Year, and Pinnacle Foods (Aurora) Eagle Award. He received his Bachelor of Communication degree from Bowling Green State University in 1988.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Faustine Curry

Faustine Curry joined Food Safety Net Services in 2016 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to FSNS, Ms. Curry served as Director of Marketing and Talent Management for Richworth Hospitality, a multi-restaurant corporation and as CEO of the Mount Pleasant/Titus County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Council. With a number of years of experience in marketing, she brings a diverse skill set to FSNS in brand development, multi-media marketing, social media, and public relations. Ms. Curry also brings expertise as an attorney and has an extensive agriculture background. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Public Relations from Texas Tech University and her Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University.

Vice President of Auditing Services
Lori Ernst

Lori Ernst joined Food Safety Net Services Certification & Audit in late 2007 as an Audit Specialist. She has over 23 years of experience in the food industry including 19 years working in a variety of meat plants. Various sectors in the meat industry are included in her work history including beef slaughter and fabrication, ground beef, steak portioning, marinating, injecting, breaded items, and fully cooked meat products. Ms. Ernst earned her Masters of Business Administration from Colorado State University and her undergraduate degree from Teikyo–Westmar University, which included a teaching endorsement. In addition to her auditing responsibilities, she also teaches BRC courses for FSNS. Ms. Ernst became Director of Auditing Services in early 2010 and Vice President of Audit Services in 2013.

Vice President of Operations
Dr. Randal Garrett

Dr. Garrett joined Food Safety Net Services in 2013. He has an extensive background in managing a variety of food manufacturing operations as well as in food safety systems within the industry. Dr. Garrett received his Bachelor of Science, Masters of Science, and PhD in Animal Science from Texas A&M University with primary focus on meat science and muscle biology. Since completing his PhD, Dr. Garrett has worked for 22 years in the meat industry with responsibilities ranging from manager of technical quality to management of operating meat plants here in the United States and in Uruguay.

Corporate Controller
Gennadiy Liberzon

Gennadiy Liberzon joined Food Safety Net Services in 2005 as the corporate controller. He graduated from University of Texas, San Antonio with a degree in accounting and then with his Masters in Accounting from St. Mary’s University. He also has his Certificate in Public Accounting. Prior to working at FSNS, Mr. Liberzon was the associate corporate controller for Southern Steel Company for 7 years.

Robert A. Pickard

Bob Pickard joined Food Safety Net Services in the spring of 2002 as a consultant and was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors in 2003. He graduated from Texas A&M University with his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1961 and then with his Masters of Business Administration in 1962. He spent 25 years with Joseke’s Department Stores in San Antonio, Texas in finance and operations, and left as Executive Vice–President in Finance and Operations. He then spent ten years with The Broadway Stores in Los Angeles, California and retired in 1995 as Executive Vice–President and Chief Financial Officer.

Vice President of Human Resources
Denise Sikes

Denise Sikes joined Food Safety Net Services in 2016 and is responsible for managing the company’s most critical resources – our team. Prior to FSNS, Ms. Sikes was with CyrusOne, an information technology focused REIT, in Carrollton, Texas where she was the Vice President, Human Resources. As the top HR Executive, she was responsible for human resources strategy, organization and employee development and effectiveness. Ms. Sikes brings more than 23 years human resources management and executive experience gained in nonprofit, privately held, publicly traded and emerging–growth companies. She obtained her BBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her MBA from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.
